SmartGrid control substitutes DataGrid control the way, that it effectively uses small display and low performance of mobile devices. Its advanced graphics capabilities allow you to display your data in a readable form together with intuitive images which can be displayed within any grid cell.

SmartGrid natively supports a connection to SQL CE databases, through its DBConnector property. Thanks to this feature, it is extremely easy to set up the whole component in the design mode. Then there is just one row of source code needed to load data into the list and the whole work is done.
Moreover, through the new DelayLoad option it loads only visible data for fast preview, and loads more data only when needed. This feature allows you to display table with thousands of rows in a second.
SmartGrid control supports also standard DataTables. This allows you to work with alternative data sources such as XML files or Pocket Access databases using the ADOCE data adapter.
